About Me

I’m J.B. Durham. I’ve been in vocational ministry for 25 years now. I’ve seen how effeminate & worldly the modern evangelical church has become. I understand why young men have walked away from church & how challenging it is to come back home.

I’m one of many working to recover a masculine Christianity—to reignite that same hard-charging, martial spirit which God used to convert half the Roman Empire to Christ and to forge our own Christian nation out of a wilderness.

Why “The Charge?”

In short, because the godless feminist revolution has turned marriage, family, church, and culture upside down. We’re calling on men to step up and lead—to help right the ship. Good leadership begins with recognizing that—as men—our God-ordained authority comes from submitting ourselves to Christ & His Word—to being Christ-centered men.

In his book, Masculine Christianity, Pastor Zach Garris writes,

“Christianity is a masculine religion. Men have authority, and as go the men, so go the women and children. Yet we are facing a crisis of masculinity in the church. Men have failed to lead, including our pastors, and now our women are acting like men and our men like women. To recover from this crisis of masculinity, we must start with God the Father. We must start with worship. Christianity has a masculine message of a husband who laid down His life for His bride. But we have an effeminate church preaching an effeminate gospel, proclaiming Jesus as Savior while ignoring His command for male rule in His kingdom.”
